Further business activities exist in the fields of agricultural technology and energy . In addition, retail is operated in the Raiffeisen markets. The building materials trade also plays a significant economic role . With its subsidiary Livisto Group GmbH based in Senden (Westphalia), Agravis Raiffeisen also develops, produces and sells medicines for livestock, pets and horses.

The fenaco cooperative pursues the objective of supporting Swiss farmers in the economic development of their enterprises. Together with its LANDIs, fenaco forms a group of companies and offers means of production to farmers. It accepts and markets agricultural produce such as grain, corn, oilseeds, potatoes, animals for slaughter, eggs, vegetables, fruit, berries and grapes. In its industrial plants, fenaco refines this produce to create high-quality food and beverages. It markets them to the Swiss retail trade, restaurant chains, the hotel industry and catering, hospitals and care homes – and it supplies its own sales channels – LANDI, Volg, TopShop and independent retailers.

About the Alliance

The Novafield Alliance was founded in 2008 to provide a forum for technical and commercial exchanges between leading companies in the agricultural supplies business, especially for the particularities of northwest Europe and the wheat production cycle.

In 2008, the members of the Alliance decided to take the next step and created a joint venture company, which is now headquartered in north Germany.
